PRESIDENTIAL Communications Secretary Martin Andanar says his office is drafting a “media literacy program” to fight fake news. Prompting Mocha Uson to issue a statement saying, “I will definitely fight back.”
In a Senate hearing last week, Martin Andanar revealed his plan to conduct a nationwide activity to fight fake news. To which, Mocha Uson said, “So ganun? Laglagan tayo?”
Martin Andanar is asking for an additional budget of P245 million to implement a nationwide program to combat fake news. TWO HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE MILLION PESOS TO FIGHT FAKE NEWS?!? Why waste that huge amount of money when you, Mocha Uson, and Vitaliano Aguirre can just quit your posts for free?
Fake
President Duterte admitted he invented the account numbers of Senator Trillanes’s alleged offshore deposits. Duterte said he lied about it. Among so many other things.
Apparently, the account numbers of Trillanes’s offshore deposits were completely fabricated by President Duterte himself. They were fake. Mocha Uson & Vitaliano Aguirre are upset. They hate competition.
Sued
Senator Trillanes has filed criminal and administrative charges against paid government mouthpiece Mocha Uson. In a statement sent to the media, Uson said, “We will answer within the period given. Suffice it to say we are confident that this has been filed out of pique and we are ready for anything.” Netizens refused to believe that the statement came from Uson. They challenged her to use “suffice” and “pique” in another sentence.
Mad Men
Following Donald Trump’s threat to “totally destroy” North Korea, Kim Jong-Un described Trump as a “mentally deranged dotard.” Or as that’s also called in the Philippines, “president.”
According to North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, the US President is a “mentally deranged dotard.” Wait ’til you meet the Philippine president.
Frat Hazing
One of the suspects in the killing of UST law student Horacio Castillo III is now hiding in the United States. When news of Castillo’s death broke, the suspect immediately fled the country. He was identified as Ralph C. Trangia. The C stands for Coward.
Ralph C. Trangia, one of the suspects in the killing of UST law student Horacio Castillo III fled the country and is reportedly in Chicago now. Trangia left his family, his studies, and his balls.
Fooled
Thousands of people from all over Luzon including Metro Manila gathered at UP Los Baños grounds last Saturday claiming they were promised to receive a portion of the Marcos wealth. Attendees were holding Marcos booklets which contained articles about the purported accomplishments of the late dictator. In a statement, the Marcoses dismissed the gathering as “a scam.” Of course, there’s no reason to doubt their claim that it was a scam since they’re the experts on the subject.
Kingsman 2
Still showing in the Philippines is the blockbuster movie ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle.’ In the film, the government is battling drugs. The president decides to let all the drug users die because what he only cares about is winning his drug war. In the end, he failed, was impeached and the female vice president took over. President Duterte called it “the worst film ever made.”

Sound Bites
“Cloaked with the authority of the presidency and the force of Mr. Duterte’s personality, even the most bizarre piece of information could take on the shape of a fact. People tend to be attentive to information that confirms their beliefs or supports their unexamined prejudices, regardless of its veracity.”
