Junjun vs. Social Media
Suspended Makati City mayor Junjun Binay has belittled the opinions of people on social media. He said, “Ang dami-daming pwedeng bayaran.” It’s not really difficult to believe him. Because if there’s someone who seems to be an expert on the subject of ‘bayaran,’ it’s Junjun Binay.
The United Nationalist Alliance was launched last Wednesday, July 1. The gathering gave us a preview of what to expect from Vice President Binay and his allies in politics. For starters, the event was hosted by a popular radio tandem known as Balasubas and Balahura.
Pacquiao and UNA
A potential candidate for senator, boxing great Manny Pacquiao attended the launch of UNA at the Makati Coliseum. Pacquiao was once a member of Aquino’s Liberal Party, Villar’s Nacionalista Party, and Pimentel’s PDP-Laban. Now, he’s with Binay’s United Nationalist Alliance. Which isn’t surprising since Pacquiao idolizes Muhammad Ali. He floats like a political butterfly.
