FOR “KILLING” Filipina drug convict Mary Jane Veloso in their erroneous print edition headlines Wednesday morning, some local newspapers became the subject of online ridicule.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer has issued an apology and vowed to “revamp newsroom processes to better inform and serve” their readers. We have yet to hear from the other newspapers.
