1785: Ornithologist John James Audubon was born. To the utter shock of his mother and the attending physician, Baby John James didn’t cry. He chirped.
1921: Weather broadcasts were heard for the first time on radio. Unfortunately, the forecast was inaccurate and the chief weatherman was ordered sacked by the president. He then resigned and sought employment in Australia.
1928: Madame Tussauds’ waxworks exhibition opens in London… with special guests Vicki Belo and Gretchen Barretto.
1964: Tanganyika and Zanzibar merged to form Tanzania… eventually inspiring the likes of Brangelina, TomKat, and Kimerald.
1986: American journalist Maria Shriver weds Arnold Schwarzenegger… in the world’s first ever union between man and machine.
1986: The world’s worst nuclear disaster occurred at Chernobyl in Kiev, Ukraine … forcing the suspension of classes in PUP.

Anyway, hindi po talaga kayo maka get-over sa suspension ng classes sa PUP dahil sa radiation scare. Wahaha. 🙂
